Upsilon Symbol in Greek Alphabet
Upsilon (uppercase Υ, lowercase υ) is the 20th letter of the Greek alphabet. In the Greek number system, this letter was taken as the symbol of the number 400. Upsilon was derived from the Phoenician wāw meaning "hook". And it was the sixth letter of the Phoenician alphabet. The capital letter (Υ) is used to represent the upsilon meson.
